Hi everyone! Just wanted to write a quick blog to introduce you all to the incredible 6 other women I’ve been doing life with for the past two weeks. Life in Costa Rica has looked much different than we thought after being in quarantine for the last 10 days, but God is still so good!

We have been staying in a local church in a place called Turrialba helping with youth group, building a back patio, etc until we had to quarantine. For the last 10 days, we stayed in a house in the mountains while quaranting. While not being able to do much ministry, we have been able to focus on resting, worship, prayer, and making cards for some of the people back at the church. We were able to go on a nature hike and found a really cool river to swim in and relax while enjoying God’s awesome creation. See photos below!

Meet team Bloom! From left to right starting in the front row:

Hi- I’m Morgan Noonan! I am from California. I love swimming and meeting new people. I am looking forward to seeing what this year holds! Ciao!

Hi, I am Morgan Corrigan from Oregon!! I grew up on a ranch outside of Crane, Oregon and graduated with a Geography degree, then worked on dairy farm for two years. My favorite fun fact of myself is that my freshman year of college instead of studying for my Chemistry final I went bungee jumping instead. I hope this year as we travel to different countries and meet many different kinds of people I grow deeper in relationship with God and know Him better as a best friend:)

Steph “Tank” from Lakewood, OH-IO! I’m a Ohio State alumni GO BUCKS! I was most recently a Head Coach at Orangetheory Fitness so naturally the team has designated me to be our personal trainer. I love Jesus, Fitness, Traveling, making friends and eating ICE CREAM.

Hi! I’m Kayla, I’m from South Carolina but currently reside in Georgia, that is when I’m not traveling the world. I have a degree in Genetics, but have been partnering with World Race for 2 years now. This is my second time squad leading and can’t wait to see the Lord move in and through L squad! I love most any outdoor activity, particularly surfing and can’t wait to surf in Costa Rica.

Sav from MAINE!!! Before the Race I enjoyed working as a whitewater raft guide, teacher and athletic coach. I love God and people and I am excited about the experiences I will have with both along this journey!

Dana Salesman from Salt Lake City UT **born in Michigan, my claim to fame. Fun fact: I left my dream job (Pediatric ICU RN) to go on the race. Thanks God 🙂

Love this team so much already and super thankful to serve along side them this month! Also, we are quarantine FREE as of today!

  10. Car-o-line, as your Daddy says ?? we were so glad when we received the news that your quarantine was over & no one got too sick. This new variant of Covid is really fearful for us all. Bill tested positive but has not been very sick, Stetson & his wife were exposed to her 10 year old niece who also has Covid but so far they have been ok but under quarantine. The adults have had one vaccine & due for their 2nd soon. We got away to the beach for a week & really enjoyed the trip. We love meeting your team, now we will feel like we know them too. Kane sent me a letter on JPay (electronic type mail). He is doing ok but has been sick also. I let him know that you were asking about visiting when you return. I’m sure that thrilled him. We are keeping you all in our prayers as y’all work as the hands & feet of Jesus. ??

  11. So glad to see you ladies well and back on mission, praying for good health and safety, our Lord bless and honor your every effort for His glory and purpose.
